A SAFER SOUNDER SOLUTION?
Conventional disinfectants, sanitizers and other liquid antimicrobial products are designed and used to eliminate, or inhibit the growth of microorganisms that are alive and present on a surface at the time of their application. And they accomplish these antimicrobial feats the same way they have since their invention many decades ago: by essentially poisoning the target surface, and therefore any microbes that may exist on it, with toxic chemicals.
To help avoid potentially also harming people or their pets, such products, once applied, must act and dissipate quickly. Note however, that as soon as they do evaporate, so does their antimicrobial properties.
HOW IT WORKS
Unlike traditional antimicrobial products, SHIELD utilizes Surface Modifying Antimicrobial Technology instead of toxic chemicals to inhibit the growth of microorganisms and prevent the growth and spread of bacteria.
Upon application, SHIELD bonds with, and imparts its microbiostatic properties onto, the treated surface, covering it with a newly formed, uniquely textured barrier that’s completely inhospitable to, and continuously inhibits the growth of microorganisms, for up to 3 months.
